Asifunde Sonke is based in Himeville on the edge of the Drakensberg Mountains

in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.

Asifunde Sonke was founded in April 2013.

It is a Christian Teacher Training Centre.

Many rural pre-primary schools and crèches do not have qualified staff.

Young children need stimulation and quality teaching to help them develop and acquire the necessary skills for full-time education.

 Asifunde Sonke responds to the need for students from poor backgrounds  to gain a National SAQA  teaching qualification in Early Childhood Development ( ECD ).

We are training committed, qualified teachers.

Asifunde Sonke takes place at Noah’s Ark Pre-Primary School.

Its Principal Mrs Felicity Champkins is the Facilitator/Trainer.
